What is Bitcoin mining hosting?

Bitcoin mining hosting — also called ASIC colocation — is a service where your mining machines live in an industrial data center instead of your home or office. The host supplies high-amperage power, cooling, networking, physical security and technicians, and charges a rate per kilowatt-hour for the electricity your machines consume.

It exists because a modern ASIC draws around 3.5 kW continuously and pushes 75 dB of noise. That is impractical on residential circuits and often costs two to four times more per kWh than industrial power. Hosting moves the machine to where power is cheap and heat is easy to remove, while you keep ownership of the hardware and all mining rewards.

What is Bitcoin mining hosting?

Bitcoin mining hosting (also called ASIC colocation) means your mining machines run inside a purpose-built data center instead of your home or office. The facility supplies industrial power, cooling, networking, physical security and on-site technicians, and bills you a rate per kilowatt-hour plus a slot fee. You keep ownership of the hardware and receive all mining rewards.

How much does mining hosting cost per kW?

Our hosted rates run from $0.055/kWh on container-scale contracts to $0.079/kWh for single units. A 3.5 kW machine at $0.067/kWh draws about 2,520 kWh per month, which works out to roughly $169 per machine per month at rack pricing.

Can I host miners I already own?

Yes. Any SHA-256 ASIC in working condition can be shipped in — Antminer S19/S21 series, WhatsMiner M30/M60 series and AvalonMiner units are all supported. Immersion halls require immersion-ready or converted machines.

Who pays for electricity and repairs?

Electricity is included in the quoted per-kWh rate and billed on measured consumption. Basic maintenance — fan swaps, cleaning, reseating hashboards, restarts — is included. Parts outside warranty are quoted before any work begins.

What uptime should I expect?

Facility uptime across the fleet currently ranges from 99.88% to 99.99%. Grid curtailment events in Texas and Alberta can pause machines during peak demand; those hours are excluded from hosting fees.

How is hosting different from a mining plan?

Hosting means you own the hardware and take both the upside and the risk of its output. A mining plan is a fixed-term contract with an estimated daily range and no hardware ownership. Returns in either case are estimated, not fixed or risk-free.

Is there a minimum contract?

Single-unit and rack hosting run month-to-month after a 3-month minimum. Container and per-MW deployments are typically 12–36 months so the facility can reserve dedicated capacity.
